Central sector scholarship scheme for college and university students. Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, has invited applications for the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship (CSS) for college and university students.  So, Most of the students are searching for Central Sector Scholarship For Minority: guidelines and last date. Therefore applicants should have secured 80% marks in class XII Examination conducted by higher secondary or vocational higher secondary boards. Also, the applicant should be pursuing further studies in any degree course.

It helps them to meet their day to day expenses up to a limit while pursuing higher studies. but, the scholarship is awarded on the basis of the applicants higher secondary examination results. That is, Annually 82000 fresh scholarships are awarded.

ELIGIBILITY

The department of higher education Scholarship Bureau points out some guidelines for the Central Sector Scholarship for college and university students. And they are listed below,

RESERVATION

Students belonging to reserved categories, weaker sections, or minorities are eligible for the Central Sector Scholarship. So, eligibility is on the basis of merit, subject to central reservation policy, and internal marking.

NSP will be opened for online application in the month of June- July every year.

There are two levels of verification-

the first level of verification is done by the institute where the student is studying and secondly by the respective state education board system.

SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT

The scholarship amount is Rs. 10000 per annum for the graduation level for the first three years of study. For the post-graduation level, the scholarship amount is Rs. 20000 per annum. Similarly, this amount will get for the two years of post-graduation studies. and for the students pursuing professional courses like B-TECH, B-Eng, etc,  where the duration, of course, is five (5) years would get Rs.10000/- per annum in the first three years of study. Also, just like the post-graduation level, the amount will be Rs.20000/- in the 4th and 5th year
